Training by Svitlana Kalitsun
My training is a mixture of lectures, interactive role-plays, and debriefings. During the lectures, my participants will learn the principles of intercultural negotiation as well as best practices from negotiation gurus. Interactive role-plays of specially designed cases will provide the chance to try out their newly acquired skills. In the debriefing sessions, there will be time to discuss, ask questions, get feedback, and explain more generally the step-by-step on how to be more successful at negotiating in different cultures
No matter what kind of negotiations you will be involved in, there will come a time to talk numbers. To give you the best possible orientation to financial negotiations, we will present useful strategies, allow time for practice on cases, and discuss possible outcomes in detail. We will explain at what point it is strategic to talk about money, what numbers to prepare, how to deal with the requests of your counterpart, and how to make concessions.
The one skill that you are guaranteed to need in every negotiation is communication. In this session, we will also discuss the four elements of effective communication as well as powerful questioning techniques.
